This role will include some stock coverage plus special projects angle:
– Main responsibilities include staying on top of industry development, building relationships with industry players and related parties, maintenance of databases and models, preparing power point presentations, handling client requests and writing reports.

Ensuring a production schedule is established on a quarterly basis, clearly outlining the expected delivery of reports, notes and Company visits. This should be given to the Japan Research Head. Reports and notes must be high quality versus volume, emphasis should be placed on insights, forecasts while linking into regional themes. Feedback when offered by the sales teams or clients should be accepted positively and where applicable reflected in the research produced.
It is the responsibility of the research team to ensure they have adequate financial models & valuation databases for all stocks under primary coverage. At a minimum these models should be robust, internally consistent and have the ability to perform sensitivity analysis on key earnings drivers.
